bullitt,
the lights in the grill are HID fogs
no NOS (yet!)
the wing does help high speed corners. There are a few corners around here I take really hard and I used to feel the back end lighten up and want to skate at around 80-90 mph, now it feels pretty solid up to 3 digits.

Rick's badges are pretty good quality and aren't that expensive. They add a nice touch to the car. I'm not sure how your's look yet, but if you found a cheaper way to rebadge your car and still make it look nice then I say "good job". I personally aren't into badges at all.

Venom- in Sarasota? I'm in Palm Harbor! Do we have a club around here or what? Where'd you get the HID fogs and where have you mounted the switch for them? Like your comments on the wing, except that I wish I had some corners like that in my area of dead-boring Florida. What have you done to your engine package?

Bullit,
I'm not aware of a local club but I would be interested. Mine's Spa yellow.

The first time I saw those Rick badges, I thought those degrade the class of the s2. Then lots of people seem to be getting them, along with the other silly aesthetic mods like the leather console cover. I still think those badges are real eyesore, as is that leather console, and that bag thing that covers the stick.

Just keep it the way it is, the S2 has an inherent beauty and subtle serenity that shouldn't be disturbed with silly individualism.

Charly; get it on 19? They have one Spa left and I know they had two. My car's in there now getting new rubber and service; asked them for a chip of the blue, and all they had was a 1/2" by 1/2" square- very lame. I'm tryin' to get more data. Have you tricked your stook at all?

Bullitt, Charly
I've talked to a couple of other SRQ area Stookers and there's definitely an interest in at least hooking up every once in awhile or even starting a club.
Let's make it happen, PM me and we'll exchange #'s and stuff and se what we can get started.

DJSang,
you love the car stock, leave it that way. others of us want to tinker, tweak and tune. It's our perogotive. You don't like the badges, don't put them on your car. You prefer cheap red carpet to leather, fine leave it that way.
I and a lot of other people do like the badges and the leather and so on.
Personally I think the big S2000 emblems and the orange light that sticks out over 1/2" on the side of the car mess up the body lines, and since the payment book is in my name, I took the emblems off and changed the light. but I'm not gonna tell you to do yours that way. As tuners, our cars are our own works of art that we alter as we see fit. Whether you see it as "silly" or not.
You dissaprove of individualism, thats fine for you.
My question is why did you buy a fairly individual car like a S2000 to begin with and not an ultra generic white civic like there are 100s of thousands all over the world?

The world is what you make it.

DJSang,

I'm not into badges either and will probably remove mine when I do some touch up work in the future. However, those badges are much nicer than the oem ones. As for the leather conole cover, you've got to get one. Those things are so nice. Much nicer than the carpet. The leather on it is actually softer than the seats. Check it out in person at the next meet. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
