Why can't someone manufacture a metal widebody kit for the rear of the S2000 that completely replaces the rear quarter panels like the BMW in the pic below?

No wacky styling, vents or cut outs...just a simple widening of the rear quarter panels to accomodate more rubber, lippier wheels and a wider stance

i thought you couldn't replace the rear fender though? on that widebody blue s2000, the rear fender that's on that car is on top of the stock one.

when i saw this picture, i was wondering if you anyone would come out with something just like this for our car (rear) john.

Ofcourse you can replace it...it's a quarter panel...it's even easier since the car is a convertible (no attachement of the rear quarter panel to a top).

I am not sure why this wide body quarter panel has not been developed. Whether it's metal, fiberglass or carbon fiber...I am sure it would sell!
