Also the fact that youre buying these fenders as a overfender for a more aggressive offset not only looks and weight savings

I dont know the weight of the FRP but on my scale the OEM was 18.5lbs and the CF ASM was just a little over 11 so I saved about 7lbs. With the FRP it has to be lighter than OEM, but probably not by a whole lot. I would guestimate that it is about 4-5lbs lighter than OEM and vented so that helps out too
Nerveronlines2k and S2x are right. The vents on the asm hood help to let hot air out and unique design draw H20 to the front fenders. The overfenders can help larger wheel offset. Overall, dry carbon hood+fender do not rust overtime like metal. Less weight means better emission, less polution, lesser tire wear and improve gas milage

Windchasers part are beautiful -- can't wait to see them on the car but I highly doubt that the FRP hood would be lighter than the OEM hood---
maybe the same weight, but not light in any significant amount ---

the OEM hood is aluminum --- and damn light---

which is why this made me laugh

with some serious neglect, you might get the fenders to rust -- but the hood? not so much

Windchaser -- get these parts on and get us some pictures
I'm loving that lip and want to see it on !!
