Default window frame tape, any regrets after removing it?

i'm considering putting it back on. don't know how difficult it would be, i assume it would be rather intensive since it was tucked under the rubber window thing. looks great with the top down but not as sleek with it up. anyways, anyone else with regrets?

top down (slightly photochopped)

top up

It stinks... all of the gunk stays on the paint and takes a long time to take it off... leave it on.. makes the car look lower

I would only take the tape off if I had a hardtop. I'll never have a hardtop.

Taking the tape off EMPHASIZES the worst line of the car... that upright, no-rake-havin'-rock chip collectin' windshield...

I agree with lig.

Go check out the Boxster, Z4, Audi TT, MR2 Spyder... the rake on their windshields makes it OK to have it be body colored... now go look at a Ferrari F-50 or any other toplessable car with an upright windshield like ours... it's black to draw the eyes awayyyyyyyyyyy.

Either we have way too much time on our hands or we are all really into our cars... or both? .
