Believe it or not that homemade wing does create downforce, and in fact whooped major ass in many track events.

In fact that wing is probably better than your average cf jdm wing. It sits up very high to get clean air flow, and look how adjustable it is. It is butt ugly , but that doesn't matter when you're passing cars on the track.
