I got the estimate today . . . $2900 in damage! And unless I can find who did it, my tax return will be going towards repairs instead of an OEM lip

Man, sorry to hear. That just hurts to look at and it's not even my car. Good luck getting it fixed. Well, look at the bright side, at least the car wasn't stolen. Another member posted in "S2000 Talk" how there car got stolen while he was at the bar. So many bad things are happening just as Spring/Summer is about it hit.

i cant stand people who dont man up to their mistakes. you ####ed up, its ok, were human we make mistakes, if you take responsability it would say more of you as a person than just driving off b\c you didnt want your insurance to go up. so lame.
i remember when i had my old sr'd 240 a truck was coming down the wrong end of a one way street and i tried to avoid him and he t-boned me. my car is fubared but his truck is immaculate. he comes over to me and this is what he said to me " man im sorry dude, that sux bc this was a really nice car". i wanted to shoryuken him into the sun but i figured ok this guy is atleast trying to right his wrong. cops show up and he immediately starts saying it was my fault he didnt see me i was speeding etc etc but either way it made no sense b\c he was driving down the wrong way of the 1 way street. turns out dude was 26 couldnt read nor write adn had to have his mom come read his police statement. makes you wonder about some people.
in any event i'm sorry this happend. good luck on filing a claim.

if you dont mind driving to SOVA i'll show you the shop i went to and its the only body shop i trust.
