That sucks a$$ Bro. I live in an apartment but one of the things that I had to have was a garage, just for that reason.

Yeah . . . next year three friends and will be moving into a house . . . where my car will NEVER be parked on the street.

Sucks because housing is kind of limited on a law school budget

I think I found the car that did it! The car that had parked next to me the night before!

I found them parked in a random obscured part of the complex(no doubt trying to hide the damage) and took a picture of the damage, and their license place, and called and left a message for the officer who took my report down, so hopefully I'll hear from him later today!

****in terrible drivers

I scope out parking spots by stereotyping every single car (damages, cheap cars, women...)
Ditto. Ruthless stereotyping is required. So you find a nice, safe spot. Then some other jerkoff that fits one of the stereotypes parks right next to you.

thats jacked up man!!! i had that happen to me but at the BMW dealership in middle of the day. And they only got my rear bumper smashed to heck, not the entire side of my car. I was told to get the opaint tested, there is plenty of it there i bet, and that will narrow down your hunt of who to but a cap in. good luck.
