does the owner drive this car to the track or is it towed to the track?
if it's towed how is it normally strapped to the trailer/tow bed?

I don't think that it is fair to say that any single picture can condemn any wheel manufacturer.

As a lot of other people have previously said, there are a lot of mitigating circumstances when it comes to the durability of the wheels. I don't think that this picture is a very good indicator of wheel durability.

Kinesis supplies a lot of wheels to different teams who run the 24hr of LeMans, so I don't think that durability is an issue with a lot of their wheels.

I have seen numerous F1 wheels suffer similar failures, and I am pretty sure that the tolerances on those wheels surpass everything else in the wheel industry.

It is still scary to see though.
