"scratches head" How can someone have a clean badge and a wild badge...
No offense btw, my car is on the wild side too

I'm just getting confused as to what is being considered clean. Not to say any of these cars are not nice... I just associate clean with simple.
Agreed.. Maybe things should be one or the other.
I withdraw my submission for the Wild side, but I can only speak for myself.
Frank - Approved. But get some LMs anyway.
SpecOps - IMO, you're wild. HOT car, but wild.
Crono - If you are lowered, I will agree with the admission. If you just have OEM lip and painted stockies, I may refrain. But the OEM lip and a drop will suffice. I cannot tell what your suspension is.
Gotrpms - Lets see another picture if you want another try with the Chromies.
20S2 - I can't see your car well. If you are lowered, I will admit. Otherwise the wheels aren't enough alone to do it. But I REALLY encourage an OEM or APR front lip regardless.

Wow, I would call "maybe" 3-4 of the cars in this thread clean. Per my definition.
For me clean would be tastefully modded. Retaining an almost OEM look while accentuating the key aspects of the car that make it attractive.
FWIW saying a car is not clean is not an insult it's just different approaching to personalizing your vehicle.

The car is actually lowered on eibach springs, but the garage isn't level. I guess a 1" drop isn't exactly that dramatic either, heh.

Thanks for the approval!

For me, a clean s2k has to be simple and understated. It leaves you thinking to yourself that something is different about this car but I can't place my finger on it!? It shouldn't be a wild body kit w/ canards that screams out at you. But that's just me.

Yeah I totally agree.. I think everyone's definition of clean is way way way different. I don't look at anything with an aftermarket bumper as clean.. unless it is the amuse only because it looks almost stock. If you are wild you shouldn't even try to get a clean badge because anything wild most likely isn't something that is remotely clean or my definition of wild is way off too.

For example: S2000GT's car has a full kit, CF hood, wheels, lowered, spoiler, etc. He qualifies for the Wild badge because of all the mods he has, but in the end the car is very clean looking. The kit is not so radical as to make it unregonizable as an S2000. EP3Minivan's car comes to mind too.
I think there are certian bumpers than work, and at the same time certian lips that might not.
For example:
Amuse R1 Front == Clean
TS Front == Can be clean
Spoon Front == NOT Clean
Cwest Front == NOT Clean
Here are the standards that I am using:
Clean cars are judged on the following criterea:
1. Lowered
2. Nice wheels that flow with the car (non-matching lug nuts are a negative here.)
3. IF there is a body kit does it flow well? Does it look like it could be OEM or is it obvious that is it aftermarket.
4. Exposed CF body panels (Unpainted hoods, fenders, doors, trunks, even hardtops) == Automatic disqualification.
5. Canards, diffusers, splitters are usually not subtle or clean, but if they are executed EXTREMELY well, it may pass. However, there are point deductions for these items.
6. Interior. Roll cages and race seats hurth the "clean" look. It can work, but it must be done VERY well.
7. Big brake kits are neutral for a clean look. The racey nature of the beast is cancelled out by the
factor.8. GT Wings are an immediate disqualification. The Mugen GT wing is the exception IF and ONLY IF it is painted.

Ok, I cheated. The headlight diffusers are actually amber
. But I will make that mod soon, so you can consider them clear.
I would say it would be easy to get your car to clean by fixing the grill and the faux vents, but for now I would deny.
Since you plan to run the bumper you have in your Avatar in the future, I expect a "clean" rating isn't what you were looking for anyway.
