XA's Official CLEAN S2K THREAD...
Damn, this thread blew up fast.
I agree with all of the comments that have been made so far as to what constitutes a clean ride as well as to all of the comments that my fellow judges have made.
I think I didn't want to insult anyone on the forum so I may have not given my own honest opinion on a few of the cars. This doesn't mean that those cars were by no means untastefully modded or ugly, but instead they may just not meat the criterior that we have set forth for a clean car. A perfect example would be a car with a lot of CF parts... can it look really good and aggressive?... sure, but that doesn't mean it looks clean.
If your car doesn't fit this category than it is probably "wild," and if it doesn't fit that than you are just sh*t out of luck.

Primo, you are right.
I think the only SINGLE requirement is LOWERING. Before you submit your car, make sure you are LOWERED.
Everything else IMO has exceptions. Wheels help a LOT, but sometimes stockers can be pulled off.
A smooth JDM lip kit or body kit can be clean, but so can a full OEM lip kit and lip spoiler.
Amber can be clean, if it matches around. Cleared lights help, though.
As with Primo, I agree about CF - most exposed CF parts should go to the Wild side, but a front lip, CF top (if it flows), or even a Mugen SS wing (XA's car is a perfect example) can still be very clean.
Michael, let us know we if we are drifting from your ideas.

Now, i'm not sure if my car will make the cut... especially if Ruexp (sorry I don't remember your name) judges it.

Ooops... maybe it was the pics then. Your car looks dumped in your sig. I like the look of the car though... approved if the other judges agree with me.

I'll be waiting on approval from the others

I like it, but I don't think it qualifies by the standards set forth for the thread.
The wheels are a little too "bling." There is no drop. Also, while I like the splitter, it is a little too aggressive for "clean."
Sorry, but I would have to deny.

Wow, I would call "maybe" 3-4 of the cars in this thread clean. Per my definition.
For me clean would be tastefully modded. Retaining an almost OEM look while accentuating the key aspects of the car that make it attractive.
FWIW saying a car is not clean is not an insult it's just different approaching to personalizing your vehicle.
