I swapped the seat bottoms on mine when I installed seat heaters a few years ago. Easy to do.

 

I could swear I read on here that the seat bottom on the driver's side has reinforcement in the bolster on the left.... whereas the passenger side has none or is on the right. So if you do the swap, the bolster will crush eventually from getting in and out of the car.

May not be a problem for you skinny guys, but I'm gravitationally challenged, so....
