AP1 tan leather seat dye
Sadly I don't have my AP1 anymore, but I did like the seats so much I put a set in my Turquoise Pearl Metallic on Ivory/Black two tone SW20 MR2 Turbo.

The driver's seat has a decent bit of bolster wear, so while I'm cutting it up to lower it another 1.5" (6' 3" in an SW20 is very tight...), I'm going to do some foam repair on the bolsters and install a seat heater. I'd also love to do some crack filler and redye the seat to really get it looking mint.
The question - Anybody have a really good dye match for the tan stock AP1 S2000 seats?

I have not found a good match from any of the off-the-shelf dyes. So, I called Fibrenew to get a quote and a match guarantee. That was quite a while ago. By the time I called back, the local franchisee had moved out of state. I don't have the quote figure but you might give them a call to see if it's worth your while.
Since there's really no color match, I guess I'll change it so I can touch it up in the future. I'm leaning towards BMW Caramel or BMW Modena. I think Modena would look pretty sweet with the turquoise pearl exterior.

It is expensive stuff but the kit is worth it. Here is my experience with it.

I've thought about it, and while it's more work, I think I'm going to change the leather color to BMW Modena. It's a bit brighter, tad more of an orange vs. yellow tan (which I prefer), and generally a tad sportier of a color.
Here's an example:

I think it'll pop nicely with Turquoise Pearl Metallic, and not clash too much with the fairly subdued light tan carpet. I've got a few flaws here and there all over the seats, so a full color change isn't as crazy as it sounds since I'd be touching up and blending significant areas as is if I want them in really good shape.
On the bright side, I have managed to lower my driver's seat about 1.5" in the rear, 1" up front. Here's a few pics:
What I cut out of the pan:

Had to make an indentation for the slider mechanism (it's rough, stainless sheet I used was really too thin for easy welding, but it holds up). Also moved front mounting point up 1" via new M10 welded nuts:

This dropped the rear down ~0.8", but I later made the brackets go under the slider mechanism. They're 1" x 1/8" cold rolled steel:

Foam trimmed:

Driver's bolster very beat up, removed it to do extensive foam repair:

This is how low it now sits with ~1.25" taken off the bottom of the seat, and it previously had about 3/8" of clearance to the floor with stock mounting points and brackets made to get the sliders as low as possible in the SW20 chassis.
