LOL Don't Do It!

And just for the record, that knob does not fit without modification. But it was pretty easy to drill it out and re-thread it. Also, it's like $10 from Honda.

Curious what others think of the idea.
Not a fan myself but I've seen to many go way overboard IMO with interior accents that match the exterior color. It's really your call to make though.

It could work, depending on how far you go. Less is better in most cases. For instance, my NFR has an all black interior so I got the aluminum dask kit and it did a nice job of brightening it up without being 'gawdy.' I also got a Ricks leather shift boot with red stitching put in to help out. Recently, as in yesterday, I got my Clazzio Seat covers in black leather with black suede center and red stitching to also help brighten it a bit. I love the S and how the interior is put together, but the all black route was a bit too dark for me and this is my way of cleaning it up.

plus it has more surfaces that can be painted without having to think WTF? why wuould you paint THAT? The car's supposed to be spartan, you can't do much to the interior to brighten it up without having it turn into Fast and Furious level tackiness.

I don't generally do gawdy, and I don't plan to start. I'm only talking about three pieces of plastic. The same three pieces that Honda saw fit to paint in contrasting silver in the first AP2's. I'll probably try it out for a while and see how I like it. If it's too much, it's easy to change it back.

And I'm not sure why being inspired by a Porsche is strange, but ok!

From my experience doing custom automotive upholstery; i would choose the color wisley, some colors will make the parts look "cheap" and out of place.

Doing a few pieces might be thrown off and out of place but doing all the trim can be overkill and too much color.

Having some smalk bits of color ( seat stitching) sometimes brings just enough color from outside to the inside such as the Porsche gt3RS with neon colors on the outside and matching french seams makes it look amazing and flows well still keeping a nice style.
