Default Carbon Fiber Center Console Cover Installed

I created a post a while back asking if anyone had this mod, there wasn't any reply so I decided to try it out. I just installed the carbon fiber center console cover, it was a bit tricky to install but the fitment is pretty good. I love anything carbon fiber so this is right up my alley. It's a Passwordjdm part, dry carbon fiber. Pictures aren't that great but it was all I could get today.

Oh that is good to know, guys like me wouldn't know the difference I guess. I'm not totally happy with PWJDM, the console arrived with some defects on it, I swear that it has been used before, I've got a complaint into them right now. Once it is installed the defects aren't very obvious but I am not 100% happy with them and I hope others don't have the same issues. Thanks for the replies.

i can tell a few things on my piece. it only has a single carbon fabric layer because the wave on the rear piece isn't perfect at all. i can actually look through the carbon. it's too thin. also, it has a lot of small holes because they didn't even wet sand and put clearcoat.

i went to a vendor's factory and he told me how it should be made. pwjdm skipped a process. this piece is no way dry carbon fiber. if their intake, cooling plate, etc is manufactured by the same process, all the prices are very steep. this is why their intake rattles and have a barrrrt noise.

yeah my real complaint is what was sold to me given the price I paid, I like the piece and it looks good when installed but I swear that it is not a new piece , and it has been used. I might have bought a used part at a lower cost but that's not what transpired. Thanks for sharing .

Yes, it is a JPM Coachworks steering wheel, they wrapped my OEM wheel. I went with a thicker option, they call it their M3 spec. They have a couple thickening options if you want, I love the thicker wheel, it feels so much better in my clumsy hands, something you enjoy every time you drive the car.
Definitely not a cheap mod but you get to keep your airbag and the finished product is topnotch, leather quality is excellent.
