and to be honest, i figured it would look worse with the carpet but i think it still looked great

Looks really good. My carpet is gone and there's a hole to the side of the shifter that isn't covered by the ap1 console-- looks like the ap2 console would cover that.

did you do that mod to yours? btw it does look way better with the leather console cover.

Nah I still have my ap1 console but with my OEM leather cover. The leather finishes off the look a lot better, and makes it look less aged imo.

Eventually I will replace the carpet with microfiber along eight the armrest and some custom stitching
But for now

haha, i am actually not too big of a fan of the leather..

i like the look but dont feel i need it ?


idk, does the leather get hot if it sees sun, say in a parking lot?
i rarely leave my car unshaded but i could see the leather warming my leg a little bit lol
