Default Child safety

Hello guys, My name is Blake and I signed up to this forum because I havent been able to find any solid info on this topic. I have been a fan of the S2000 since it came out, its the ideal car for me, but sadly I was never able to own one because its s coupe without child locks. Well I cant stand it anymore, I want one...badly, and I am more than willing to REMOVE the inner door handle all together to keep my child from falling out at 65mph. Is there a way to just revmove the inner handle, so that it can only be opened from the outside. I really need someone to reply to this, thanks guys.

-Blake

He is 9, but he is special needs, he has down syndrome. So hes unpredictable to say the least So I would never take a chance of him being able to open a car door while moving.

Removing the inside door handle definitely isn't out of the question but I wouldn't do it. An s2000 isn't a car for kids to ride in, its more of a toy for adults in my opinion!

Who said I would go fast with him in it? lol It was my daily driver for a while, I never went fast with him in it. I am mature, and responsible, and know a hell of alot about driving, so its okay dont worry.

I suppose there's ways around it, but as far as safety is concerned, it might not be a good idea to remove the handle. Good luck either way.

You would be better off finding a way for the car to auto lock when moving, I.e. like a taxi does
