Cleaning my Bride seat
Hello, does anyone know an effective product I can use to clean the white stitching on my seats? It's gotten really dirty and grimey and I was wondering if anyone had this problem and has attempted and succeeded in purifying the stitching. ANY HELP would be appreciated
First thing that comes to my mind is steam cleaning. Better yet, taking out the seats, scrubbing it with some shampoo etc, then spraying the RugDoctor spray and then steam cleaning it. I have done it with interiors of a lot of cars, never on a white stiching but can't be much different.
I had a snapple bottle not close properly one time and ended up dripping on my passenger seat all day
sounds crazy but here's what I did. First, I took it to a professional to have cleaned. Guy was nice until we got outside and saw my brides. He flat out refused to touch them. Fml right, so at this point I'm like what the hell the pad is already flubbed up so I took the pad out and went to talk to the detailer without the manager with me. He took some window cleaner the aerosol kind that foams on and sprayed the pad all over. I let it sit for about an hour and then I vacuumed it dry. Problem solved the stain actually went away! Didn't try on the white stitching cause it was still clean, but most window products are in fact surface stain removers.

Was researching the same issue came across this:

Seems like a good way to do it. Woolite tends to be innocuous. I wouldn't use paint thinner!
