Lightbulb Converting 2008/2009 Base to CR Interior

This will be a mix of questions and information for a first timer trying to modify their Base interior. First, an open question on the CR interior is for the seats.

Seats
If you wanted to convert stock black or red/black seats from a 2008 or 2009 - can you just buy the seat covers/skins for the CR from Honda and replace those over the original seat frame and padding - or - do you need the entire seat and all its parts? If any one has done this and can answer that would be great.

Doors
From reading other posts and checking part lists, the door skins alone will be fine for the doors. You can buy the door skins for a CR from Honda and swap them without replacing any other door parts. If anyone knows anything to the contrary, please let us know.

Carpet/Mats
The graphite/yellow CR floor mats can be found online and swapped. The carpet would also have to be swapped to black/graphite if coming from a black/red interior.

Does anyone know if there are any more interior touches that would have to be addressed to convert a Base to CR inside? I'm hoping to pick up a yellow AP2 within the next month or two. Plan on doing small cosmetic touches and also converting the interior to look like stock CR.

Thanks for the help!

Seat covers should just swap without any issues, shouldn't need to touch the rails. Doors should be the same. Carpet as well.

You would need the radio door and center console (shift knob, boot, etc) to make it complete.
