I'm looking for a countersunk knob that is similar to the stock shift knob in size and shape, but just sits lower. I love my weighted moddiction knob but sometimes I miss the smaller size/shape of the OEM.

 

Renegade makes one and a few other brands too. Not sure if the Renegade one I have in mind is smaller than your Moddicition knob though

 

I know there are several oem and jdm options available you might check out. ICB motorsport has a good selection!

 

Just get a CR shift knob like I did. It sits lower so the throw is shorter. It fits because it is made for the S2000. I especially like the yellow lettering as my 2009 is a RYP. I have seen them in red lettering too. It would be easy to change it to any color you wanted. I like how it fits my hand. The only thing is if the top is down in the summer; the ball can get hot. I hang a ball cap on it to keep it shaded in that event.
