Default Dash conditioner?

I bought my 2005 about a month ago and noticed the center of the dash is somewhat faded. The car only has 35k on it, but living in FL will definately make this problem worse. I don't want to use Armor All, cause it will prob cause it dry more. Any suggestions on what I can use to protect my dash and improve it's appearance? Thanks!

There are many products. Make sure you get somethign for leather. Lexol is a good over the counter protectant.

Yep. It's called Vinylex. It's one of my favorites; it looks and acts just like 303 Aerospace Protectant, but is easier to find and less expensive.

to clarify- the dash is actually vinyl. it has a leather look. there are lotsa parts of our cars that look leather that are not.
best to use leather products on leather (and they take two separate ones- a cleaner and a preservative) and vinyl products on vinyl (they do combine the cleaner and protectant).
vinylex is one of my favs for vinyl also.

If you think the sun has something to do with the fading, make sure that you using a protectant with UV protection like meguiars interior, or 1z einszett cockpit premium

Hold the phone on Vinylex.

The better products for the dash are 303 Aerospace Protectant, and 1Z Cockpit Premium.

They don't leave behind any oily residues, and have UV protection.

I know Lexol has UV ptotection, but just isn't all that great of a product.

so this is proof that detailing involves opinions.
slanguage and i disagree about vinylex- i respect his opinion.
i use pretty much all vinyl products made, including 303 and 1z-
for my bmw i now use 303 cause i want more of a matte finish. on my s2000 i use vinylex cause its more of a show car, and no longer my daily driver - and i want shine... it gets a coupla coats - (for my daily driver i use several products not even mentioned and that car is a harley!!).
my other two cars get zymol, sonus, 303 and raggtopp. i also have several other vinyl products that are in the back of the shelf now-
