Thanks man, Everyone who sees them tends to like them more than the OEMs. Solid Swap, Really glad I did it.

Once you pull out the stock seats you realize how heavy they are. Feels like they have bricks in the seat pan lmao. These were definitely lighter, I wish I knew an exact number for you.

x2 WTF is right... pink shifter and all...

Evo 8 work with RO rails? Doesn't rub on the door? That's another good option if that's the case

I'd have to check, but I imagine so.

I just won a pair of Evo 8 Recaros on ebay for $400 so I guess Ill be the lab rat. Not ordering rails yet since I have a feeling the seller will be backing out. He must have entered the wrong weight and box size, or perhaps missed a decimal on the shipping quote. $2.32 to ship it from Washington to NJ.

If I do end up winning them does anyone know if it is possible to remove the seat cover and wash them or if I will have to rent a steam vac? I'd like to rit dye them gray but all the videos on the net for the older sr3 dc2 seats show people using a hose and a shopvac

Wonder how much reupholstering them to the same color as the dc5 blue seats would set me back... I doubt we have many trendy upholstery shops her in south NJ/Philly who will embroider logos and are used to working on late model seats

Actually when it come to reupholstery NJ has options. John Pauls S2k has custom work done that I believe was done in NJ. And I cleaned mine using my Parents Shampooer. Worked like a charm. I think Dye would be your most cost effective route though.

If I can be out under $600 to rewrap these I would be happy. All the DC5 seats for under $1100 have wear and I would end up with seats with new cloth for $1000 total so it could be worth it.
