Well crap. No shipping info from the seller, nor plies to my messages. Seller went dark with my $400. I guess he meant to click local pickup only and has no clue how auctions work. Looks like my ebay seat score has gone bust and I will be demanding a refund once the delivery date passes(Monday jeez, then a week for him to respond, then another week for ebay to do stuff). Who doesn't check their ebay page when they know they have a auction in progress? Real bummer.

So I guess this is a sign I should just wait for the blue DC5 Recaros? What about ep3 seats and the Recaros from accords?

When I first thought about doing this swap, there wasn't much info out there. And a lot of people told me it wouldn't work. If you like a set of seats, look into sizing / dimensions. That's the key. Brackets can be made for anything if a welder is good enough.

EP3 seats suck. There are places to get the seats reupholstered, and on occasion a darker shade of blue Recaros will come up. There's always the black option, though. Oh, Recaros from the Accord, if bottom mount like the DC5; should work. The seats are Recaro Sportline (Evo 8), which will work. I believe the DC5R is an SR4 seat. Both are narrower than the SRD/DC2R seat.

This thread just made me deeply regret selling my mint black dc5rs I'm not a fan of the s2000 seat either and I remember hearing be dc2s were to wide but since the 5s had the more narrow/taller bolsters they should slide right in.

Was the install pretty straight forward once you had the RO-Seat Rails? Removal of old and just bolt on Bride Rails without moddification? I ask as the quote "All It took was Bride Ro rails. That was the hardest part." threw me off a bit. Or was that comment towards the fact that you had a hard time sourcing the rails?

Hey man, and yeah it was just a really hard time finding a complete set of RO rails.

Yeah they were just out of stock when I was going through with the swap. I found a fs post from 2012, and the guy still had not sold them, and the passenger I got from Cusco LOL.

Hey guys, I've researched around and can't find a definitive answer to my question. Is the seating position for dc5 seats on bride RO rails lower than stock? I've seen threads where people have said it's lower and also higher, so would be nice to have a confirmation. Thanks

I'll do what I can to take some measurements this weekend. I have a friend who still has OEM seats.
