Default Door cargo net?

As the description says I have started the painting of my interior to spruce it up of years of fading spots, dull color, etc. So in the process of breaking down my whole door panel I'm now wonder if the cargo net on the door is paintable. My plan is to use the "Dupli-Color Vinyl and Fabric" spray paint on it but I don't know if it will work on that kind of material. I have found the cargo net in the pure red that I want from a factory parts Honda site but don't really wanna pay $40+ which will be $80+ for left and right door. If anyone knows or think it will work your advice will help me out as I don't want it to get all painted and that cargo nets off color will throw my door panel off.
