Aight i got some pics of it with my iphone [sorry for some bad quality ones]. o ya @hannibal i have led's 24cm like yours which can be cut every 3 leds

let me try break this down with the 6 images:

IMG1: this is how it looks like currently hidden away, it still is okay atm, it gives a line/ray of light as u can see at night/dark places but the difference in brightness from the drivers side is definately noticeable shown in image 2

IMG2: this is how it looks like on the drivers side, its light is equally distrbuted unlike the one i took in the pic which looks distorted!

IMG3: *****Help is needed here, if i wanted to mount the led's for the same or close to brightness of the driver's side, i will have to mount it on that thing which i believe to be the blower? [correct me if im wrong lol]. but i have no idea how so if u haf any ideas plz feel free the let it run wild

IMG4:i little idea for ppl which dont wanna hook it up with the dome lights and opening door, u can make a little secret switch to turn it on and off at your disposal like me

IMG5: a further view of the switch hidden behind the indicators

IMG6: this is how i mounted my driver side, its pretty much hidden when turned on and is very bright [pure white] to give, u guys a idea if anyone is interested in mounting it on the driver's side

Links are below, sorry i dunno how to upload the pics so bare with me on this one

I love your switch placement. I couldn't do that because my rear defogger switch is there (something that wasn't available on your MY 2000. I think they added the rear defog for MY 02).

The passenger side is much harder to get as bright as the driver side due to the lack of great mounting points. I need to work on some better pics of both the lights and their mounting for you.

As for posting pics you can't do that as a guest. You have to pony up the $20 for a membership (regular or Gold will do the trick.)

Thanks. Would love to see the step by step process for the cup holder and puddle lights. Perhaps a new topic with a link posted here?

We've been doing LED's in so many cars for a long time now....the trick to doing this right is to pick a soft accent color and NOT make it too bright. Subtle is the key and the less is more approach definitely applies here.

This was from my 1st ever s2000 in 2001:

and my m3:

On my 05 Rio I added some in the engine bay+ headlights too:
