MY03 is tan carpet, seats, and leather console cover. Everything else is black.

Timely post for me. I have been in the process of converting from 2002 black to black and tan for over a year. Picking up tan bits here and there. Just picked up a set of beautiful 2005 tan seats this morning. Swapped the seats right away. Then pulled out the tan console cover that I picked up last year and to my surprise.... Drumroll..... The shade of tan is much darker than my new 2005 seats. As is my way, not enough homework. Can anyone confirm this for me? The AP1 tan is darker than the AP2?

Also, I bought a set of supposedly factory tan floor mats last year on eBay and pulled them out for the first time too. Not only the darker tan, but surprisingly cheap looking. You know, that polyester sheen in cheap carpet. Again, curious if anyone has ordered mats from Honda. Does it say Honda on the mats? Im thinking these might be knock offs.

I think all factory mats say S2000 on them, not Honda, right? I wouldn't trust buying off of eBay.

Thanks for the link Houston. That tan interior looks perfect. From what I tell in the pic, the tan seems to match. I don't get why the 2005 seats seem so light compared to the 2002 tan console cover.

As for the mats, I meant does it say "Honda" UNDER the mats. Any reference to them being OEM? Mine do have S2000 embroidered on them. I'll probably never know. Just checked Rick's. Evidently, they do not do tan any longer.

Difference in material and probably due to use.. Tan seats show dirt much more than black.. Obviously.. I saw one year as I was looking to buy mine. Almost bought it until I realized it was a rebuild and here in Texas it could only get a salvaged title. But the 'inserts' of the seats were brown and the outer portion was black.. SICK.. don't know if it was factory, but it was sick!
