Angelos from GD here... wanted to jump in and comment that this was one of our favorite wheels we have done... Martini livery was an amazing idea to work from. Thank you for making us part of your build and glad to hear you are enjoying the drive!

Thank you for kind words, S3000!! Love reading these first-hand experience with our OEM+ steering wheels... our ethos from outset has been adherence to "OEM+"... meaning carefully thought out steering wheel design that takes into account ergonomics, superior automotive-grade materials, and of course giving LOTS of design choice and then crafting with attention to detail on seeing these through.
One update for those planning an order - Tomas, Michal (our expert steering wheel craftsman) and I (Angelos) have worked hard to keep our little "workshop" crafting customer wheels in reasonable waiting times. We are modders so know how hard it is to wait on upgrades! In fact, we now can typically have customer wheels ready to courier out just 3 weeks from time of order!

I got perforated Napa leather on sides, and Nappa leather top and bottom, all black, no 'stripe', flat bottom, with white cross-stitch. I'm just going for an OEM+ look for the car interior. I'm eventually going to re-do my OEM seats, as they are, just with white stitch where the factory dark red thread is, no more, no less. Needless to say the steering wheel is beautiful, and feels amazing to the touch. It's soft, but just enough. Sorry to hear about your Euroboutique experience. I was going to go with them, but it's simply too much money and I did wonder about how hard the wheel would be given the look of it. Suspicions confirmed.
Get with the guys at Guardian Designs / Motor-o-polis if you're still looking to change your upgrade. I've had mine now for a year or two and it looks and feels just like when I installed it brand new. Massive upgrade and worth every penny (way less than the option, too). Driving my 08 BB has had even more of a sense of occasion since then. Love it. Never selling it. Cheers, P.
One more thing on this sunny Saturday morning - we are running an anniversary sale! Next 3 orders from s2ki members get 10% off our regular pricing on their steering wheel!
I was weary of making a deposit as the website and payment methods look slightly “inauthentic” so to speak, however the it was apparently that the business is legitimate after reading threads across s2ki.
i was also hesitant because it sounds like there were strings of non responsiveness from Angelo/GD.
All in all I pulled the trigger and put down a deposit last night at around 1am and to my surprise Angelo already sent me a deposit confirmation email by the time I woke up the next morning! He asked a number of questions regarding my order which makes this feel more of a bespoke process.
I was a bit skeptical at first, I was one of the first ones to get a wheel from them. The deal seemed too good to be true at the time with no core charge, but it all worked out fine and no one has been disappointed since they became popular, at least not to my knowledge. I did hear some complaints about the response time, but everything was great as far as I was concerned. Angelo's grandmother lives in my hometown and his family owns a business a couple hours from me too. He was great to deal with, the guys in Poland might be more involved now I don't know. I lost touch after my purchase, but I would not hesitate to recommend them.
I'm pleased with mine. Steering wheel and shift boot are from Guardian Designs. The armrest and e-brake leather were from Redline goods. Seats are Clazzio covers... until I can afford to have them properly reupholstered.
