I just finished installing my new wheel+shift boot. It feels great to the touch and looks pretty quality. I just wanted to share some photos with you guys for those that are on the fence about making the purchase. I will update later on with driving impressions.

Update: I did a little canyon carving today with my new interior. The wheel feels AWESOME. I picked up a set of Sparco gloves to use so I don't destroy the alcantara prematurely. The driving experience is much more sublime with this wheel. I love the thick sport grip and enlarged thumb rests. Gripping the wheel is much more comfortable now and feels much more "plush". I'd suggest this mod for anyone that wants to retain their factory srs. I considered going the Mugen 3 steering wheel route, but I wanted to keep my air bag.

Looks fantastic, you will likely find yourself driving more just to feel the new wheel, I know I sure did, it's a great upgrade.

 

That's the plan! These cars were meant to be driven. The addition of the steering wheel just makes it all the more enjoyable.
