Default Honda OEM FD2 shift knob

anyone used one of these? are they countersunk?

love the way they look but i do enjoy the countersunk knob i have now and don't want to give that up.

i've read that they sit slightly higher than the cr one...but that's just what i read....

I don't believe any of the oem Honda shift knobs are really countersunk. Could be wrong though. Definitely a nice looking shift knob though!

Trust me I wouldn't mind having one of your new ones that are engraved, just a bit more costly.

Also, any plans to make engraved ones in textured or gloss black?

Not yet. I gotta figure out a way to do that still. With the brushed it is much easier since the metal can be brushed again after coloring the engraving where as a coated one can't as it will mess up the surface.
Could possibly do the engraving but the engraving would be coated too. Not sure how that would look though.

I had an OEM CR knob and it was countersunk as far as possible w/out putting a hole through the top...

i had this. it wasnt countersunk, sat pretty high. i like how it looks but its sitting in my room

Oh ok didn't know that. The ones I have seen always sat pretty high up. Nice!

nice, now if only they'd made ones where the color fill in was red instead of the customary yellow...
