Boo!!! The interior guy said he couldn't really make a vinyl sleeve for it because it was wide at the ends and skinny in the middle. He said could paint it, but didn't know if I really wanted to do that since I obviously grab it every time I close the door. I'm thinking maybe like the rubber paint. Any suggestions?

Well i did my interior swap as i couldnt afford a 02-03 now i just need the roll hoops to complete it as the guy that sold me it splited the roll hoop garnish.

Is it me or does the red dash seem to show scratches more apparently? Mine seems to have random small scratches in spaces that no one touches
i guess whoever you bought it from doesn't take good care of it. Mine doesn't have scratches. BTW, is your passenger airbag color matches the dash color perfectly, or can you tell its off a bit. I just bought one from ebay and the red color is totally off.

Edit: found out its suppose to be perfect as the dash
The scratches appear without me touching that spot lol
My airbag cover matches perfectly from my dash though other than the lil faint scratches i can only see in certain degree of light its matches perfectly.
If i remembered correctly 04+ full red interiors weres was slighty different shade of red

So my Skye really is one out of 205 in the whole world? (or is that chart on post #23 only for the US?)

I flew to texas from ga with my gf, paid whatever the man wanted for my 2002 Berlina black with full red with 14k miles on it in 2007. Mint condition, from a honda dealership service manager. I was lucky he had a new born child, and his wife wanted him to get a mini-van or something bigger. Not one was available at that time with the same color combo, and the white and full red interior wanted like $50k for it. I said, you must be out of your mind.

I get a kick out of little kid's jaws drop and pulling their moms hand and pointing at my car, and teenagers coming up and saying "nice car" while wearing "f the world" shirts.

I wanted this car when I was younger, when I bought my prelude, and it took me 6 months to find one to buy. No bargaining on price whatsoever. I overpaid about $7k on it. It's 2014 now, I have 95k miles. Enjoyed every bit of it.

I've done good enough after 7 years to go out and buy the new M5, but I just know, it just won't be the same. I know I want to be burred in this car, and I can't sell this car in good conscious. Just like if I bought a Ferrari 355, my other childhood dream car, I wouldn't be able to sell it despite all the short comings of the car.

Is it worth it? Damn right.

One more thing. This has been discussed before and I know there are some data about this, because I remember reading about it.

The number of full red interior berlina red is about 280 or 380 (?), and it was only made in 2002. White with full red is suppose to be less than that number. I remember this, because I was disappointed to find out.

There is also the blue with blue full interior, which is also rare. Also the RJ edition that wasn't even available in US. It's purple or something with tan interior.

the Silverstone/red is the rarest obviously, followed by Berlina black/red and GPW / red

Suzuka blue with blue interior is the "common" one, the one with mixed interior is the "rare" one.

Skye inside out: (I switched the red radio door, it was just too much..)

still got tons of work with the leather seats ahead of me, but it will be all good, I promise

Sorry to bump an old thread but I have a question about all this.

I just bought a 2004 S2000 in Silverstone Metallic on all red interior. The car is completely unmodified so I'm sure it's the original interior.

The chart I keep seeing seems to be a little inaccurate, but what's interesting is that this is a relatively early 04 car (It's number is under 200) but it was built at Suzuka.

Honda's press releases all seem to say that the 04 models had the red/black interior, so I'm thinking this could be a pretty rare car.

I still haven't taken delivery of it yet, and I'm having a little trouble uploading photos, but it is for sure the all-red interior. Any thoughts? Has anyone else seen this?

That's so hot, love it!

Based on those numbers, my GPW with tan is pretty rare. 2.9% of that chart. Is that for USA, or North America? Although my car is American, so I guess that doesn't really matter lol.
