Default Interior color scheme on a Suzuka

I have a Suzuka 06 (blue seats, carpet and floor mats--everything else is black). I have bought Clazzio seat covers in black because my seats have seen better days. I'll be putting those on this weekend. My floor mats are also in rough shape so I'm replacing them next. I was thinking about getting the Ricks black floor mats. At that point the *only* thing blue on the interior of the car would be the carpeting. I am wondering if I should just replace the carpet with black as well. I don't necessarily think it'd look bad with the blue carpet but it would seem sort of odd to have that be the only non-black portion of the interior.

Opinions are welcome.

Gone this far, might as well go with the black carpet. However, I do think the blk mats sitting on top of the blue carpet would look nice.

I have black interior and have been wanting to swap for suzuka for a while now. I want blue seats and the inner door cards. My car is an 04. All we would need to do is swap the rails on the driver seat and everything would fit fine. let me know!!!

i reckon black carpet,
theres a DIY somewhere on here about dying it black, sounds like a mission tho, but if you can pull it off, it be sweet.

im in a bit of a dilemma here too, im thinking of getting the black and blue clazzio covers. my doors i have the black inner leather inserts, while the rest of my interior is blue. would the middle blue of the clazzio seat covers be look bizarre as they should be black too.

it seems the right way of matching it is having the leather door inserts matching the center bit of the seat. im pretty hopeless in terms of car interior. anyone be able to shed some light otherwise ill just stick to the all black seat covers?

I've read that the blue inserts on the Clazzio covers do not come close to the color of the Suzuka interior bits--I believe it was noted that they were too light in color. You can probably find the thread somewhere with a bit of searching. That's why I ended up just going with the all-black seat covers.

If in doubt, go with all black. If you would like a little color, go all black with blue stitching. I'm partial to a totally blacked out cockpit and will admit that there is nothing wrong with preffering some other color combo. All black and you will never have any regrets.

Hmmm, I've been thinking of swapping out my 03 suzuka interior for black. Maybe we could work out a trade if this avenue doesn't work for you. Wonder what shipping costs would be? I'm in AZ.

I put the seat covers on yesterday and they make the car look much newer inside. My seats were showing quite a bit of age and wear. Next I'll order some floor mats at some point and decide if it would be worth it to get black carpet to finish it out or just leave it as-is.

As for trades: not really interested--the shipping and downtime wouldn't be worthwhile for me. Thanks for the offers though!

I'm running the black Honda Euro mats in my 2006 Suzuka, and recently added the black Clazzio's. I love the combination. The blue carpet is just right. In the second photo the seat covers look a little bluish too; it's just the lighting.

Now with the Clazzios:
