Default interior dash lights?

Hello everyone.

Does anyone know what size the lights are that light up everything on the dash and roof button along with the hazard button. And also how many of them total in the car(both sides of the dash, and roof and hazard button)?

Sylvania is your friend:

PS you are looking for the Map Light when you say roof. As for the dash and the hazard I am not sure. Try this site out for some more info (they sell replacement dash clusters but have some shots of the original bulbs.

I'd probably look in the FAQ or the install guide section.

Hi,

I think AP1 and AP2's are a little different.

For an AP2
Audio Control: 3mm NeoWedge bulbs. Qty 5
Climate Control: 4mm NeoWedge bulbs: Qty 4
Cruise Control: 3mm NeoWedge bulbs: Qty 2
Defrost button: 3mm NeoWedge bulbs: Qty 2
Starter button: 3mm NeoWedge bulbs: Qty 1
Roof button: 3mm NeoWedge bulbs: Qty 1
Emergency button: 3mm NeoWedge bulbs: Qty 1

You will not be able to get the climate and audio controls the same brightness. The controls are made differently and there isn't a bulb made that will work (not even the tall Type B NeoWedge from autolumination). Climate control always ends up dimmer.

You can order the bulbs from superbrightleds.com or autolumination.com. I recommend getting all the 3mm bulbs from superbrightleds, they're brighter and fit quality is almost perfect. Recommend the 4mm Type B JDM twin bulb from autolumination.

We need someone with some soldering skills to make 4mm custom NeoWedge bulbs.

Hope that helps you out.

I would check out the led versions that are advertised on this site! I replaced my lights with the super bright leds and they rock!

I converted all of mine to 3mm LED's. I even did all the indicatiors in LED's also. (i.e. green fan indicatiors to white, a/c button indicator to white, and the rec button indicator to red). All this with a blue background. You just have to have basic soldering skills to do this, I couldnt be happier with them!

These are some old pics, i'll try to get some good ones later to show the light better.
