Default Killswitch?

I just searched around for a while about a killswitch. I wouldn't want to do one that is connected to the engine start button, and I know where I would want to put it. I'm just not sure where to start and how I would do it.

I'm always paranoid over my S2000's safety.

kill switches are real basic to install. I wouldnt be worried about someone stealing the entire car, the biggest problem is the roof getting cut and the interior stolen. however, if you do want that extra protection I'm sure you can find a nice battery cut off switch at any auto store and install it in an hour.

let us know how it goes.

Will do. I'm also looking at getting a Viper security system.

hey dude, i have your car.. haha.
kill switches aren't gonna do much in these rides, the immobilizer takes care of that.
but if you were going to just pick up a switch from... anywhere, radio shack, WALMART etc.. switch is a switch. find a small one that you can comfortably flick, but can hide well. you don't want a BIG BULKY 3" toggle switch, easy to find. make it somewhere that when you get in the car you can nonchallantly (spelling) get to it, so if any passenger or onlookers won't see you bending your arm around your ear to get to it.
i can give you a few ideas, but just PM me, not smart to make it public.
i have a viper as well, invest in the field proximity sensor, and get it properly adjusted.

edit: pm me if you reply, as i won't see it on the tread!
good luck!

No need to buy a switch or add much of anything. If for some reason you do seriously want to do this. Just wire it to a switch thats already in your car. I.E. you have to pull the high beam switch to start the car. You could easily wire in as many switches as you wanted.
