Default Lathe Werks Custom Shift Knobs

Just got my new custom knob in from Chris @ Lathe Werks. I have had several knobs made by him in the past for my Subarus but this is my first one for the s2000. It's a hybrid piston style knob with a stainless bottom and a copolymer top to keep the temperature comfortable all year round. It weighs about 270 grams which means it's pretty close to my stock 06 knob. It does sit up slightly taller than the stock knob but that's something that doesn't bother me. I highly recommend Chris' service from Lathe Werks, his customer service is top notch. Here's a couple pics to share with you guys.

The knurled sides feel great. I had a similar copolymer knob in the past but it wasn't knurled and over time the oils from your had make it super shiny and slippery so I think the knurled texture is a must if you're going with this kind of material knob.

I know we've got some guys on this site that do some good work but some of the stuff coming out of lathe werks is amazing. I've been tempted to tell him a few times to check out s2ki if he hadn't already.

Yeah, Chris is an awesome guy and he really puts his heart and soul into what he makes. He's pretty popular over on the Subaru forums that's where I found out about him and I had a couple of his custom knobs for my Subarus as well. I told him I would spread the word over here and let the Honda guys know he will make custom knobs for them too. He can pretty much do any design you want, so if you don't like what he has under the Honda section just message him and see if he can make it.

The leather on the top of the boot looks a bit more wrinkled than the rest of the boot. Is that because you unwrapped it and moved it up?
