Love my new Moddiction shift knob Anvil 2

Powder coating helps with reducing the surface temp of the knob if left to bake for a long time in the sun. Much cooler to the touch compared to bare metal. I've never had an issue with bare metal in any of my cars though but don't normally park outside for really long times.

I've got one too, and I love it. It can sit significantly lower than stock, which makes throws notably shorter and hence shifting more engaging. In addition, since it sits lower, your forearm can rest on the central tunnel while still holding the knob, which is more comfortable IMO. I won't step back to the factory knob, definitely!

Still loving mine after a few years, I can't imagine using anything else as this just seems so perfect for my shifting style. I never liked the light blue paint that came with it around the shift pattern, so I re-sprayed it a darker blue, and then wet sanded off the overspray and it matches much better with my interior.

Anyone have a picture of a red one in a tan interior? I like colour and black grey don't overly do it for me, but I don't want it to look terrible either lol.

The powder coating definitely helps keep the surface temp not as hot or cold. It still will get hot but the powder coating on surface definitely significantly helps.
