Default Moddiction Anvil II came in today

Before:

After:

I got the car a few months ago and the only real gripe I had with it was the shifting. Now it is pretty much perfect. If the car came with this knob it would be just about perfect from the factory. It feels great in my hand. It is at least twice as heavy and really makes the shift much smoother. It's also a remarkably shorter throw since it is counter-sunk an inch and a half. I'm very pleased with it.

I never felt comfortable shifting with the factory shiftknob on my MY02, switching to the Moddiction Anvil2 was a night and day difference, shifting is now very comfortable based on my preferences. I've always preferred a pistol grip shift style, lower is better as well on this car, and the weight helps too, so this knob is perfectly designed for me.

I will admit I do like the shift with a aluminum voodoo knob. It kinda gives it a bolt action feel.
Hopefully with this heavier one, I can just slam then thru the gears. Considering a etd to help with that too.

Thanks for the review man!
Glad you are happy with it!

Axus19 I believe the voodoo aluminum knobs weigh about 150 grams. The Anvil 2 stainless I offer weighs about 415 grams. So it is MUCH heavier!
