New rearview mirror glass?
My rearview mirror doesn't look very good. The silver backing has started to peel up around the edges (thanks TX sun). I see the rearview mirror assembly is about $70...is there anyway to replace just the glass?
As mD5 said, Spoon makes a rearview mirror overlay that is convex (for wider vision) and blue (to decrease glare from headlights) for about $50 and you place it right over the OEM mirror. Just ordered one myself
Did you do this? If so what did you get? What would you recommend?

This might be a great opportunity for you guys to upgrade to a dimming mirror! It will make nighttime driving much more pleasant, especially when big TX trucks are driving behind you.

EDIT:
I found the link the the eBay listing of the mirror I purchased. It's pretty generic, and it appears the seller only offers it as part of complete kits now. Here is a link to some pictures I took tonight, along with some pictures from the mod for the mount. For reference, I am 5' 11" and there is just enough clearance at the top of the mirror frame for me to get a nice clear view out the back window. I think this mod will NOT work for someone taller.
When I bought my car it came with a dimming mirror from a different Honda model ( I think it was a Pilot). It wasn't wired up though so I never used it. I've since gone with the Spoon mirror, plus my Mugen hardtop window is tinted.
I had the mirror pulled out of the car to install the Spoon overlay. I thought it looked kind of cheap because the middle section extends outwards farther then the two ends, by using a thick piece of sticky foam in the middle and thinner foam at the ends. But once the mirror is on the car it looks fine.
