Default New Steering Wheel and Shifter Boot from Gaurdian

It took some time and patience, but in the end it was worth it. I absolutely love my new D-Shape Steering Wheel and matching shifter boot.

I just ordered some other leather parts (e-brake, elbow pad, and visors) from redline I hope the match is close. To finish it off I’m thinking of doing the Radio and Console Silver covers in Carbon Fiber and I think that will be it. I don’t like to overdo it.

Looks good! Digging the perforated leather look. How does the thicker steering wheel compared to stock?

If I had to nitpick the top stripe doesn't look even? Each red stitching piece on the shift boot doesn't have the same length?

I have a similar setup and love it, Guardian makes nice parts.

As for the comment about the noon stripe above, I think the camel tow look of the stripe is somewhat appealing!

Good eye, the stiching on the boot is consistent, but the Top Stripe is off by about a millimeter or so, you have to look real close and be really anal to notice. I might try to stretch the leather over, I am sure that it would move that small amount if I did. Funny when billman250 installed he kept trying to get it perfect, then we both noticed it was about 1mm to the left.

Overall I am very happy and I do really like the thicker wheel.

My noon stripe and wheel are not a perfect centre either, nice product though.

I love the feel of their wheels, it was the most rewarding mod on my S2000 to be honest. I am debating getting one for my Integra now, but the Integra wheel is so large to begin with and I like fat wheels, a fat integra wheel might just be too much size-wise ? But I would really love one

Those wheels look nice. I wish I could find a way to clean and treat the OEM wheel so that it could be restored to like new condition. It seems that any leather covered wheel will gradually become slick over time from the oils in our hands.

I read to get the oils off you can use Woolite mixed with water, google woolite leather cleaning, it might be worth a try. I have not tried it yet, but I intend too when I clean my wifes leather on her volvo, I heard it takes off dye transfer too.
