Default Patches for leather?

Not directly related to the "S", but I thought I'd ask here. My 2000 Toyota Celica GTS has some serious rips in the leather driver's seat. I probably have 4-5 tears ranging from 1" to 4" long. Are there any leather patch kits I could buy? I don't want any of that repair "goo", I want an honest to god leather patch with super strong adhesive I can put on the tear. I'm looking for a durable, long term solution here.

Any ideas?

take it to an upholstery shop and have them replace the sections with vynal. trying to patch thoes kind of tears is just a waste of your money.

Here is the quote I was given for an upholstery shop:

Black leather is $450.00.
Black vinyl $280.00
Black fabric $280.00

At this point I'm better off looking for seating out of a wrecked/parted out car. I've got gorilla tape currently over all of the rips, so you can't see anything right now.

Those are prices to re-upholster, right? Have you asked about just patching the rips?

I haven't asked about the patches. At this point I might just bite the bullet and pay the $300 to have it done right. These tears are driving me nuts and I don't like the idea of seat covers.
