Need to darken Rick's leather console cover
Rick's leather console in black... is... well...not black. It's a grey charcoal at very best and even lighter than that to be fair and no matter how much leather protector you use, will it ever darken to black.
Anyone recommend a product that will allow me to darken the leather to black which protects simultaneously? Shoe cleaner etc?

If the leather has a sealant on it - which I reckon it will have, then you'll have no chance.
I remember looking into this sort of thing ages ago on another car. You will have to rub off the dye sealant, then apply the dye, then re-seal. A serious job.
See this detailed guide here
Edit: personally I love the carpet centre console... prefer it to the later revisions!
