Default Question about the name of an interior piece

Hi, I was just wondering what the leather piece is called that sits behind the cupholders and in front of the glovebox? I have an ap1 and mine is getting pretty worn and has chunks of leather missing from the corners. Also do you have to remove the whole center console to remove it or is it simply held in by clips?

Are you talking about the armrest? If I remember correctly they are plastic welded on for AP1's. You can just buy a used ap1 center console for really cheap if wanting to replace it. Or spend a bit more and buy an AP2 center console.

Thanks for all the responses! I might just go ahead and get a new one. I did a little bit of searching and went to the place I ordered my clutch master cylinder and found a great deal. Here's the link: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...E+%28+00-03%29
