On my "new to me" 2001 S2000, the rear view mirror vibrates and rattles. I went to tighten the screw and the head is mostly mangled. I am guessing this was an ongoing problem and the previous owner just tightened the screw again and again with too much force. If I can get the screw out, does anyone know what size it is? I suppose I could take it to the hardware store and hope they can match it up but I was hoping for a quick answer. I was planning on replacing the screw and putting a dab of Loctite on it for good measure unless there is a reason to not use that.
