Thats the only question. Car fax is clean. There was two owners and the previous one only put 400 miles on it and had it as his 5th car. Traded it in for a X5. I don't know about the original owner though. I will definately take a look at it. I kind of like the red carpet, but definately not overlooking it just because of price or anything. I will look at it in person. Thanks for the help guys.

Just the fact that the owner does not address the red carpet in the ad raises questions to me.

Yeah people change out their carpet all the time. I don't see how it could be much of a red flag, seriously what could have been done to replace the carpet? Maybe one of the owners wanted red which I have seen an owner do on here with his LBP s2000, so its not unheard of. Also they might have spilled oil or something on it, and they just replaced it with red since thats all they could find at the time. It could be anything, but I dont see having different colored carpet as a red flag. If the carfax is clean, and everything looks good on it, go for it.

Cool, I am looking at two this weekend. Hopefully one them will be mine. One is this and the other is another 08 with normal black carpet but with 30k on it and its a private seller selling for 22000. So I would rather go with the other one because of the lower miles. Most all of them have been selling over blue book.

It is an odd and not a modification that is often done. The car is also a 2008 so one would assume that the owner had the funds to replace with matching black carpet if that was needed but obviously not the sense to. I would have more than a few questions to ask and flooding comes to mind more than anything. Just have it inspected for a hundred bucks and if that comes up clean and all the VIN stickers are intact then why not if you like the red?
