Ok, this is really cool! I have the black/red interior. This will really kick it up a notch. Its a dd, so belts get dirty with time and use. Fresh belts will be nice.

I'll wait until its time for the top. Maybe buy a set of used belts so I can send in ahead of time, so no downtime when doing top.

You can actually access these quite simply without removing the top at all. They are tucked right behind the roll hoops. You have to remove the roll hoops to access the bolts to remove the seatbelts. You can put the top down and access all you need from there.

Remove seats, remove plastic panels that allow you to get to the roll hoops, remove trunk trim to allow access to back of inner panels, remove roll hoops, seat belts completely accessible.

NOTE: WHEN I SAY ROLL HOOPS, THIS IS THE METAL ROLL BAR HOOP AND THAT PLASTIC THAT SURROUNDS IT! THERE IS NO REASON TO ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC FROM THE ROLL HOOPS! LEAVE THE PLASTIC ALONE!

This code may still be in effect to save you some cash, I used it with my order:

Get 25% OFF custom color seat belts with promo code GOONZQUAD at https://www.safetyrestore.com/content/74-colored-seat-belts

Found another code in my email as well:

RESTORE25
What color did you pick for your belts ? Ferrari Red ?
And thanks for the 25% coupon - I used it
Thanks

I am in love with these seatbelts and for how cheap it is for such a tasteful mod, it has to be done. 80$ a belt might seem like alot, but its something you use every time you drive and makes it that much more unique. i want the black with yellow, to go with yellow CR stitching doors. damn.

Fast forward 4 years, price is now $99.97 per belt and the best news......the 25% off code (restore25) still works!

Does anyone know for sure if belts from any year s2k will work in my '00? I'd like to pick up extra belts to do this and leave my oem belts alone.

LHT said there are two different belts; up to 05 uses 1 style and past uses a different. See video above.

Yeah I've been looking for '00-'02 belts just to be safe, but earlier the better.
