Has anyone ever removed the radio door and filled in everything where the hings were? Im thinking of doing this since I replaced the factory radio and did not get the modifry
unit to keep the dash controls. At least not yet. Im not a big fan of using the door to begin with so it just makes since for. Just curious if anyone else has done this yet and maybe has some input or pictures. Thanks in advance.

 

It would look horrible without it and it serves a dual purpose of allowing you to conceal the radio and any cash/credit cards you may not want in plain sight. My .02. I know this isn't the response you're looking for, just thought you might wanna think about that...

 

It was actually to minimize any distractions, so the driver can focus completely at the task at hand (driving).
