The carpet in my AP1 is faded and worn. I haven't had any luck finding replacement carpets on the net, well other than some ratty used carpet on eBay. Can anyone here point me towards a source?

Also interested. The red (especially on my passenger side) is faded and would love to source even an aftermarket molded carpet kit as a fall back.

 

wow very surprised nobody makes aftermarket carpet. These cars are getting old and I'm sure 1000s need replacement carpet. Who wants to start a business with me?

 

Are you talking about oem replcements? You could check out majestic honda online, or AFHKparts on IG, or an option would be to just lurk classifieds on the forums for oem ones or the premium ones. You could also post a WTB thread in the classifieds and im sure someone will have a set to sell you. hope this helps!

Buy them new from Honda. And honestly, I would do it sooner than later as S2000 parts are slowly getting discontinued.

 

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know what the differences are between AP1 and AP2 RHD driver's side carpets (not mats)? My RHD '00 AP1 needs new driver's carpet and so far I've only found AP2.

The first owner appears to have driven in stilettos and tore the carpet completely, then the second owner did a "quick fix" job and glued some padding over the tear. I've seen people mention an extra hump on the passenger's side on '06+ models but I don't need that as it's still in very good condition.

The other threads I found on here about this say up to '05 is ok in an AP1 but I've found this:
