Rick's vs JPM Center Console Cover?
Hey guys so I was going to be buying a center console cover and shift boot shortly. I was going to be getting it through Ricks since I have order things through there before. However I just noticed S2k007's post in the interiors thread and thought the JPM center console cover had some really nice texture to it that I haven't seen on the Rick's ones. I haven't actually seen either of them in person so I was just wondering if anyone else has and could tell me their opinions. A close up picture of a Rick's center console cover would also work well. Thanks!
I can't answer your question directly but here's my opinion.
I've got a ricks shift boot and a JPM Coachworks elbowpad/armrest, the leather used by JPMCoachworks is superb in terms of feel and look. Ricks uses Townsend leather so you would think that it would be pretty good. From what I can see I prefer the leather used by JPM - I believe it is Italian leather and Rick's is German leather. Ricks can be a bit tricky to get a hold of at times, and my order got delayed due to some processing mistake they made. JPM Coachworks has some of the best customer service I've ever come across and the are easy to contact.
