I just bought mine used in November and initially thought it didn't come with an owners manual. I downloaded a pdf of an owners manual and was reading it and discovered the "secret" compartment. I ran out to the garage to check my car and sure enough my owners manual was in there! My salesman was clueless. I even asked him about the owners manual and he said that the car didn't have one and he figured the guy that traded it in had lost it or something.

This is tough to admitt. I had a 2003 for 4 years and never knew about this compartment. The lease expired and I turnrd the car back in and leased a 330ci. Drove the BMW for 2 years and decided to BUY another s2000. Found a real nice low milage 2005 (same color as my 2003) and bought it. While cleaning the car I found the secret compartment. Unbelivable! I drove the 2003 for 4 years and never knew it was there. Talk about your dumb asses.

I rather have a traditional glove box located above the passenger foot well instead. Much more easy to reach over and open it than trying to turn around inside the car to get stuff.

Why Honda why?? It's not like there isn't room for one.

Ahhh... I have owned my 2005 for about a week, then discovered this thread. It is after midnight and stormy outside, but I ran out to my detached garage in my sweats to verify this compartment. Holy crap! And I've been bitching about the lack of storage space, I am sorry car!
