I am going to be purchasing a MY07 Leguna Blue Pearl soon and I want to do an entire interior swap including door panels, carpet, center and seats to the tan found in the White S2Ks. Does anyone know if you can purchase the OEM leather for the seats and have them re-upholstered or would I be better off trying to purchase tan seats and sell the stock black that came with my car. I am not trying to hijack this thread. Sorry if I take it off topic.

As I have found with my search for tan interior parts, the only way to obtain Honda light tan is from another S2000. Nobody has leather or Ultrasuede that matches. Take it from me. If you want a tan interior, which btw would look very classy in Leguna blue, source an upholstery shop for a color that you would like. Have the door inserts, center console and seats made from the same lot of material. I am now contemplating doing this as I will never get the seats to match Honda's door inserts.
Always remember, if someone put it together you can take it apart. The door inserts simply unscrew from the door panels and the center console can be replaced with some fussing. Use a proper clip removal tool to prevent the plastic buttons holding the console from breaking.

Thank you for the info. I really don't trust any shops in my area (Marine town) to do good work. I'll probably end up sending the parts out to be re-upholstered. As far as taking it apart I don't think it will be an issue. I'm just trying to keep it as stock as possible as far as appearance. The build will be major but I want it to look like just another clean example of an S2k.

I'm having my seats re-upholstered locally. Found a shop with an excellent reputation for doing high-end work. The seats will be Italian tan leather with Ultrasuede inserts on the seat and backrest sections. I'll post pics when complete. Most people may not like the suede/leather combo but it's my choice. The tan leather is actually called maple by the manufacturer and is as near a match to the Honda tan door/center console inserts as I will ever achieve so I'm content with how they will look together.

When I pick up the finished product I'll enquire about the leather supplier. The suede was a compromise and I'll have to wait and and see how it all looks together.
Thanks for trying Doug!

Finally! The seats are done.

Italian tan leather with tan suede inserts. The color is actually called maple. It's about a 90%-95% match to Honda's "tan". Sometimes when I look at the Honda center console leather it looks more yellow than tan. The same with the door inserts except for the perforated portion of the door card. The perforated section is about a 98% match to the seats.
The seats were professionally done about 45 minutes from my home. With the some of the excess leather material, left over, I did the shift boot myself.

I'm glad it's done but it wasn't cheap. Cheaper than buying new racing seats though.
