"Temperature proof" countersunk shift knobs?
anyone know of any nice countersunk shift knobs that are slightly more resistant to the hot sun or a cold cold day? (i'm more worried about the sun considering my location)

walnut...knob? why not..just put a hat over the knob while parked in the sun? In reality, anything with any sort of thermal conductivity (metal) is going to get hot.

i remember i had a greddy shift knob (polished) on my old prelude, that fawker got ridiculously hot within a very short amount of time.
