Default Tip: Brightening dash lights with HIDs on...

This is something I should have posted a while back. Maybe it's in the manual but I never read it there. I wanted to drive with my HIDs on while traveling from California back to Houston this summer. I messed around with the dash brightness controls and realized that if I held in the + button for about 2 seconds the dash lights would brighten up to the level they were at before I turned the lights on. This allows the driver to still see the MPH and whatnot even if they have their lights on during the day. Just a tip.

Yes, this nice tip is also in the manual. Unfortunately, the brighter setting is not retained when you turn off the car.

Thanks Wesmaster! I read the manual from cover to cover, but I must have missed that. Good tip!

does this tip also apply to the brighness of the dash switches? My S2000 was sitting for the winter and I surely thought there was a separate thumb dial for the dash switch brightness but darn if I can find it?
